Design Director

We're seeking a dynamic Design Director to join our remote team. We need a solution-oriented visionary with a knack for creative problem-solving and a sincere commitment to improving customer experiences. You'll stand out if you're a seasoned visual designer, an integrative team member, and unafraid to venture into experimental design avenues.

Alongside your professional accountability, your role involves actively contributing to team innovation and embracing our ethos of aiding others. As a direct report to the Head of Client Operations, expect collaborative growth and development opportunities.

Candidates in the EST timezone are preferred, but we value talent beyond geographical boundaries. If you're passionate, energetic, and ready to leave a significant imprint in CX design, we'd love to hear from you.

Who We're Looking For

  • 6+ years as a UX, interaction, interface, or product designer or similar role
  • 3+ years leading a team to translate user data into design solutions and quickly refine them
  • Managed at least one direct report
  • Fluency in best practices for interaction design, design thinking, content strategy, information architecture, and design systems
  • Understanding of user research methodologies and user data analysis
  • Expert knowledge of design and prototyping tools (E.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Invision)
  • Awareness of web and mobile technology (E.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS)
  • A leader who can inspire teammates into action with a clear understanding of success
  • Fiercely creative with an eye for what’s great and a pulse on what’s to come
  • Proven ability to solve complex UX problems and the product strategy skills to deliver best-in-class visual design solutions
  • A practiced listener who connects the dots strategically and thinks outside the box to arrive at new or customized approaches to our client's deliverables
  • Ability to uncover and utilize business truths and user behaviors that help define a great product
  • Able to lead the overall vision for the work, propose it, and follow through with a critical eye for necessary pivots
  • Deep understanding of the limitations of developing for software platforms
  • Degree in Interaction Design, Psychology, or HCI or demonstrated proficiency and experience in UX
